As the train continues its course, it meanders past verdant tea gardens and the remnants of the Kangra Fort, unraveling the rich tapestry of the region’s natural abundance and historical significance.

This Kangra Valley toy train runs on a narrow-gauge rail line starting its journey from Pathankot district in Punjab to Jugendra Nagar in Himachal Pradesh, this train runs for about 10 hours covering a distance of 160 km. The train travels through 20 tunnels and approximately 950 bridges that are bound to put a spell on you.

Tips

The toy train runs for 10 hours and can be hard to accommodate in the itinerary for some of our travel buddies who have a plan for a short trip due to the time crunch. We have a solution just for you, as the toy train stops at several stations along the route, we suggest hopping on the train from Aaju station to Palampur station as it has the most enchanting views and takes only 1 hour 30 minutes of time.
